About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Incident Response in Delphi, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage location. This unarmed, driving patrol post requires a valid driver’s license. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through customer service and communication. The position is full-time and pays $17.25 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food production and distribution areas, parking areas, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
