About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location in Lufkin, Texas. The officer will safeguard personnel, property, and operations by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access-control procedures, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position pays $16.36 per hour and follows a rotating schedule: Monday 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.; Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.; and Sunday 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

Requirements

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific security procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency-response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office, billing, and perimeter areas, identifying and reporting unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and potential facility concerns.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic according to established procedures for an aerospace and defense business location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate contacts.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality around sensitive business operations.
