About The Position

Per Mar Security Services is seeking entry-level and experienced Security Officers to join its expanding team. The role monitors premises to prevent property damage, violence, and rule violations, and helps maintain the security of doors, windows, and gates. The listed schedule is Sunday 2:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m., Monday 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m., and Friday–Saturday 5:45 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Compensation is $20 per hour. Per Mar Security Services is a family-owned, full-service security company established in 1953, with more than 2,600 team members and 25 branch locations.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Possess integrity, communication, excellent service, and accountability.
• Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process and background investigation.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent property damage, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.
• Warn violators of premises rules and regulations.
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
