About The Position

Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Security Officer/Gate Attendant to help protect premises and enforce facility rules. The role involves monitoring the premises, checking doors, windows, and gates, addressing suspicious or criminal activity, reporting facility issues, and requesting emergency personnel in high-risk situations. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at $19 per hour. This is a full-time, second-shift position that includes weekends. One opening is available.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must demonstrate integrity, communication, excellent service, and accountability.
• Must be willing to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process and background investigation.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or rule violations.
• Examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure they function properly and provide security.
• Warn violators about premises rules and regulations.
• Address people engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.
• Report facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
