About The Position

As a Security Officer Visitor Desk Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location as a Front Desk Officer, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. In this customer-facing role, you will help support access control, monitor front desk activity, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify visitor identity and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence.
  • Answer phones, greet arriving guests, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access instructions and site expectations in a professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Support emergency response activities, access control processes, and other assigned administrative or security-related duties connected to front desk operations.
