About The Position

As a Security Officer Front Desk in Manchester, NH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and telecom location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, support badge and guest check-in processes, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. In this highly visible role, you will help maintain a professional, well-organized environment while supporting security-related operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific policies, visitor management procedures, and security-related protocols at a front desk location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel for support when needed.
  • Support front desk operations by answering phones, directing visitors, maintaining logs and reports, and communicating relevant activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns through attentive observation of the lobby, entry points, and reception area while remaining at an assigned stationary post.
