The Security Professional role involves monitoring Life Safety and Critical Infrastructure by performing tours throughout the Gallagher Campus. Additional duties include access control, escorting, response to alarms and events, and relieving fixed posts. All security activities shall be coordinated and communicated to the ROC via intercom, radio, or landline. Security Professionals identify and report Life Safety issues, tour the building to prevent and identify potential incidents, and respond accordingly to an event. They monitor critical infrastructure, provide perimeter security, and monitor control access points such as turnstiles, docks, and emergency exits. This post requires knowledge of the property in its entirety and the use of an access control card or post keys to enter required locations. Security Professionals must report anything out of the ordinary to the ROC Analyst, fill out a Daily Activity Report (DAR), and have knowledge of emergency SOPs as well as a general working knowledge of other posts as they will be relieving various posts.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate security, hospitality, or a customer service-focused environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in using computers, standard security software, and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
Requires a high degree of professional maturity and sound judgment necessary to handle complex tenant interactions and sensitive security matters.

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience within a High-Rise Commercial Office Building environment is strongly preferred and will be considered a significant asset.
Bi-lingual considered a plus.
Professional candidate who is proficient with computers, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

Monitoring Life Safety and Critical Infrastructure by performing tours throughout the Gallagher Campus.
Performing access control.
Escorting.
Responding to alarms and events.
Relieving fixed posts.
Coordinating and communicating all security activities to the ROC via the intercom, radio or landline.
Identifying and reporting Life Safety issues.
Touring the building to prevent and identify potential incidents and responding accordingly to an event.
Monitoring critical infrastructure.
Providing perimeter security.
Monitoring control access points, i.e. turnstiles, dock, emergency exits.
Reporting anything out of the ordinary to the ROC Analyst.
