As a Security Officer Front Desk in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a prestigious financial institution location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, support access control and badge processes, monitor alarm and entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and front desk protocols at a financial services location.
  • Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and assist with sign-in processes according to site-specific security-related policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, manage visitor inquiries, and help direct guests, deliveries, and vendors while maintaining awareness of entry points and restricted areas.
  • Prepare logs, reports, and other front desk documentation related to daily activity, incidents, and visitor access in accordance with Allied Universal and/or site requirements.
