About The Position

As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating with authorized personnel regarding entry requests.
• Answer phones, assist employees, visitors, and vendors with directions and general questions, and report unusual activity, incidents, and/or concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Help to support security-related operations in a manufacturing and industrial location by observing lobby and entry activity, documenting information accurately, and coordinating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
