Requirements

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location within an automotive environment.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor information, issuing access credentials when appropriate, and documenting arrivals and departures in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Answer phones, manage the reception area, and support front desk operations by providing directions, handling inquiries, and reporting maintenance, customer service, and/or security-related concerns through proper channels.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to visitor management, deliveries, incidents, and/or daily activity while helping to support orderly operations at the location.
