About The Position
As a part-time Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Phoenix, Arizona, you will support security operations at a financial institution. You will coordinate communications, monitor access-control systems, and help manage security-related responses. The role includes maintaining clear documentation, providing customer service, and serving as a point of contact during routine and urgent situations. The position is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and pays $23.34 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor incoming calls, alarms, access-control notifications, and other communications; dispatch personnel or resources according to site procedures.
- Accurately document incidents, service requests, and critical situations in detailed dispatch logs, and communicate updates to appropriate contacts.
- Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Monitor facility activity through available systems and report unusual conditions to deter unauthorized access and support security operations.
