About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer Access Authorization in Earth City, Missouri, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes providing customer service and clear communication while supporting daily operations through teamwork and integrity. Work schedule: Monday, Friday, and Saturday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, where required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification or authorized access credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to access-related incidents, delivery disruptions, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Maintain accurate logs and reports of access activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership or Allied Universal supervision.
