About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Authorization Specialist in Fontana, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at an industrial location. You will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, and documenting visitor and vehicle activity. The role also involves responding to alarms and security-related concerns, communicating professionally with employees and guests, and supporting a welcoming experience. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing visitor passes, and directing authorized personnel and vehicles to appropriate areas.
Help enforce entry requirements for an industrial facility, including screening deliveries, coordinating with site contacts, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established escalation and communication procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, surrounding areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
