About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Authorization in White Settlement, Texas, you will help safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role also includes routine patrols, professional communication with employees and guests, and helping maintain a welcoming environment.

This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require being at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and issue or collect access badges according to site requirements.
• Control access to designated areas, help deter unauthorized entry, and report access-related concerns or irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
• Communicate professionally with employees and guests and support a welcoming environment.
