About The Position

As a Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role is based at a train station in the Riverside/Corona area and is scheduled Thursday through Monday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Hold a current California Guard Card with training certificates.
• Have a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record for more than one year.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
