About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Davenport, Iowa, serving a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors. The role involves communicating professionally, reporting observations, and helping maintain a welcoming environment. The scheduled shifts are Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.80 per hour. Part-time officers may use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology-focused office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report unusual conditions, and help deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
Complete required activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
