About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Tallahassee, Florida, to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The position involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position. The listed pay rate is $17.75 per hour, with scheduled shifts Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, as required by Allied Universal driver policy for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry according to site requirements.
Maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.
