About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a mobile patrol driving post at a residential location in Saint Augustine, Florida. The role involves safeguarding residents, visitors, and property through routine patrols, a visible security presence, access monitoring, incident response, and customer service. The position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The listed pay rate is $16.64 per hour. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen, as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures and carrying out emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, using problem-solving skills.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with property management and Allied Universal leadership.
