About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Purchase, New York, you will serve and safeguard clients at a food and beverage location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. The role supports a welcoming environment and requires responding to site needs with professionalism and integrity. This is a part-time position scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.25–$20.25 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the food and beverage production or distribution location, including building interiors, exterior areas, parking areas, and perimeter points.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; assist with access-control procedures and report unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation accurately and promptly.
