About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard to serve and safeguard clients in a train station setting. The role pays $18.50 per hour and works Wednesday through Sunday: Wednesday through Friday from 0400 to 1200 in Corona, and Saturday and Sunday from 0500 to 1300 in Riverside. A current California Guard Card with training certificates is required, as is a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record for more than one year.

The Security Guard provides customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. The role also includes responding calmly and constructively to incidents and critical situations and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Applicants must meet the stated age requirement for unarmed or armed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug-screen requirements. Licensing requirements may apply before employment, depending on state and local laws.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Possess a current California Guard Card with training certificates.
• Have a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record for more than one year.
• Meet any applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Submit to a background investigation and a drug screen, subject to applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
