About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location in Greer, South Carolina. The role involves safeguarding patients, visitors, staff, and clients through unarmed patrols, access-point monitoring, customer service, incident response, and accurate reporting. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license. The position pays $18.69 per hour and requires at least 30 hours per week. The schedule has not yet been assigned and will be determined based on business needs during hiring, onboarding, and training.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; required for this driving position.
Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity; report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy violations.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site representatives.
