About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Chantilly, Virginia, you will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, support site operations, and follow site-specific procedures, including emergency response activities when appropriate. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and report unauthorized activity, suspicious behavior, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs.
