About The Position

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Monitoring in Alexandria, Virginia, you will serve and safeguard clients at a residential location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. The position calls for clear communication and outstanding customer service. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by following site-specific procedures and policies and, when appropriate, carrying out emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Monitor access points and observe entry and exit activity in accordance with property policies; assist with visitor access and resident inquiries as assigned.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
