About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a government location in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. The officer supports a welcoming, orderly environment by documenting observations and responding to concerns professionally. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.45 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Must undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
May need to meet applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and public-service agencies as needed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor activity according to location-specific procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.
