About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Guard for a manufacturing and industrial location in Greenville, South Carolina. The role serves and safeguards clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service and communication. The position is part of a team focused on teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law. State or local licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet state or local licensing requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, following visitor and contractor entry procedures, and documenting arrivals, departures, and other required activity.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency personnel according to established procedures.
Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
