About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer in Georgetown, Indiana, you will help safeguard a technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, respond to security concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication to support a welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and report access-control irregularities.
• Accurately document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
