About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to support a healthcare location in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The role serves and safeguards patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and clients by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service and communication. The position works a daytime schedule on Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sunday from 4:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.32 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency-response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, corridors, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and help direct patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities according to site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
