About The Position

As a Security Guard serving a logistics and distribution location in Lithia Springs, Georgia, you will help safeguard clients by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control and alarm response, and helping deter incidents. You will provide customer service and communicate clearly while working as part of a reliable team. The position is full-time and pays $15.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Complete accurate activity reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
