Security Guard Full Time Patrol
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Patrol Unarmed Officer in Monroe, North Carolina, to serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. This driving position involves routine patrols, a visible security presence, and helping maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to customer service, clear communication, teamwork, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.47 per hour. Applicants must meet age and education requirements and are subject to background investigation and drug screening, as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local regulations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license for this driving position, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing may be required before employment under applicable state or local laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
- Monitor access, verify authorization as directed by site policy, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with employees, contractors, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership about security observations, incidents, and operational needs.
