About The Position

As a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Sanford, North Carolina, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a secure environment. The role includes providing customer service, communicating professionally, and documenting security-related activities using computer or tablet technology.

The scheduled hours are Monday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The pay rate is $14.25 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet state or local licensing requirements if applicable before employment.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, building perimeters, parking areas, access points, and loading docks.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor, employee, and contractor credentials according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security concerns in clear, accurate reports.
