About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Channahon, Illinois. The officer will safeguard employees, visitors, and contractors by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access, responding to security concerns, and documenting activity. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and pays $20.40 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site leadership.
