About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Patrol in Calabasas, California. This part-time position provides a fixed weekly shift at an assigned site, with a six-month commitment to the designated site and shift. Employees may claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and adjust their schedule as needed. The listed shift is Monday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM. Pay is $19.25 per hour.

The role provides customer service while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. The position involves unarmed patrols of commercial property, monitoring access and activity, responding to incidents, and documenting observations. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older. Employment is subject to applicable background and drug screening requirements, and licensing may be required under state or local law.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or clients while carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and notify appropriate personnel as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and contractor activity.
• Document security-related incidents, observations, and patrol activity.
• Deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence and adherence to post orders.
