About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems and identify potential threats before they escalate. The role is based in Houston, Texas, and involves observing screens, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, conducting patrols, controlling access, and helping protect people and property. The position also includes verifying identification, creating badges, checking security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious incidents or emergencies. The set schedule is either Saturday–Sunday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m., and Monday–Tuesday, 11 p.m.–6 a.m.; or Saturday–Sunday, 6 p.m.–6 a.m., and Wednesday–Thursday, 11 p.m.–6 a.m. The hourly wage is $16.00. Uniforms are provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

Be authorized to work in the United States.
Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Pass an extensive screening process.
Have strong report-writing skills.
Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
Have strong proficiency with technology.
Hold a state license if required.
