About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Wilmington, North Carolina. The role serves and safeguards clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and communication. The position involves driving and requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. The scheduled hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Pay is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment depending on state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem-solving skills and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned areas and around the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and maintain required documentation.
