Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response
About The Position
As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a healthcare location in Chula Vista, California, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine interior and exterior patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, responding to concerns, and providing customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team with a caring, people-first culture that acts with integrity. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.50 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
- Monitor access points and help maintain the orderly movement of authorized individuals, visitors, and deliveries according to site-specific procedures.
- Accurately document observations, incidents, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
