About The Position

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Response in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including retail and malls. At a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. The role is full-time and pays $25.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Thursday, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM; Friday and Saturday, 9:30 AM–8:30 PM; and Sunday, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy concerns according to site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.
