About The Position

As a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer in Dallas, Texas, you will help safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and reporting security-related concerns. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication with visitors and staff, and contributing to a welcoming environment. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations according to site procedures and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. Applicants must have at least one year of security-related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations while following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, report observations to appropriate personnel, and help deter unauthorized access or prohibited activity.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.
