About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer to serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution in Charlotte, North Carolina. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provides professional customer service to employees and visitors. The role also involves supporting a welcoming environment and protecting people, property, and sensitive financial operations.

Requirements

At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
At least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and stay aware of activity in assigned areas.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter; identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and maintenance concerns.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
