About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for incident response at a retail and mall destination in Miami, Florida. The officer will safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for tenants, retailers, visitors, and guests by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, responding to concerns, and carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, at $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, retailers, visitors, and guests while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for vendors, deliveries, contractors, and authorized personnel.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership, property representatives, and local law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate.
