About The Position

As a Security Guard Morning Patrol in Albuquerque, New Mexico, you will serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location. This is a part-time, unarmed patrol position. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, communicate with visitors and team members, and provide exceptional customer service. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at a rate of $20.15 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate site contacts or emergency services when needed.
Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
Help deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
