About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Enhanced for a designated site in Montgomery, Alabama. The role provides a fixed weekly schedule and the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The assigned anchor shifts require a six-month commitment; additional shifts can increase hours up to 40 per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $17.93 per hour.

The scheduled shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The position conducts unarmed driving patrols and supports site security, customer service, access monitoring, incident response, and required reporting.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to drug screening to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, notify appropriate personnel, and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
