About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Wilson, North Carolina. The role provides a dependable weekly shift at an assigned financial institution, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The designated weekly shift requires a six-month commitment. Additional shifts may allow hours to vary, with the possibility of building up to 40 hours per week and scaling back when needed. The stated pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The schedule listed is Thursday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

The Security Guard provides customer service and carries out site security procedures and policies. Duties include unarmed patrols, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding to incidents and alarms, and documenting and communicating relevant observations. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors at a financial institution while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter; identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, assist with access control, and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
