About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol driving Security Guard for an industrial location in Alpharetta, Georgia. The role involves vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, providing professional customer service, documenting security-related activity, and using technology to support daily operations. The schedule is Thursday and Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial facilities, equipment areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts or unusual conditions to site leadership.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related observations.
