About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time armed patrol officer to support a government corrections location in Clinton, North Carolina. The officer conducts armed driving patrols, maintains a visible security presence, responds to security concerns, and provides professional customer service and communication. The driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. The position pays $21.50 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday and Sunday from 5:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local law; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations professionally and calmly, following post orders and applicable procedures.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident activity.
Communicate observed conditions and relevant information to site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal supervision as appropriate.
