About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a healthcare location in Elkton, Maryland. The driving role serves and safeguards patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and the client by providing customer service, conducting patrols, monitoring access, and responding to security-related situations. A valid driver’s license is required for the driving post. The role pays $17.50 per hour and is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, access concerns, and other critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or policy violations, and document incidents accurately and promptly.
Maintain a professional presence and communicate respectfully with healthcare personnel and visitors, providing directions and assistance as appropriate.
