About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Patrol Officer for a government corrections environment in Lillington, North Carolina. The officer will serve and safeguard the client by conducting armed patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to incidents, controlling access, and providing customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The listed pay rate is $21.50 per hour. The posted schedule is Saturday, 5:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Sunday, 5:45 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, as required for driving positions and in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations according to post orders and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.
Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
Communicate professionally with site personnel and law enforcement agencies as needed.
