About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer for a patrol driving role in South Bend, Indiana. The officer will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, supporting access control activities, and providing customer service. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay is $18.20 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and drug screen, subject to applicable laws. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, required under Allied Universal’s driver policy for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a background investigation, subject to applicable laws.
Successful completion of a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
Maintain a visible security presence to help deter security-related incidents.
Support access control activities.
