About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Winnemucca, Nevada. The role primarily involves driving throughout the site and conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. The officer maintains a visible presence, responds to concerns, and provides customer service and clear communication to personnel, visitors, and contractors. The position pays $22.50 per hour and is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The role includes paid training, access to additional shifts through the Claim a Shift platform, and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing and industrial work areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and reporting irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
