About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Houma, Louisiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. This is an unarmed patrol driving role focused on helping maintain a welcoming and secure environment. You will represent Allied Universal’s culture of teamwork and integrity while providing customer service and communicating with tenants, visitors, property personnel, site management, and company leadership. The scheduled shifts are Friday and Saturday, 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Pay is $11.00 per hour.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and taking part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and contractor activity according to site-specific procedures.
Document patrols, incidents, and observed conditions in clear, timely reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
