About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer for a commercial real estate location in Los Angeles, California. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, assist tenants and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. The role supports a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $21.17 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required before employment depending on state or local laws.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and performing emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office buildings, parking areas, lobbies, common areas, and the property perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and observe entry and exit activity according to site procedures.
Assist with directing visitors, contractors, and deliveries as needed.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs accurately and promptly.
